Use SAT to Apply Globally

With SAT test centers in more than 170 countries, the College Board is here to support you. In 2017, we helped the vast majority of international students fulfill their seat requests. If you are unable to find a seat in your preferred city, click on the Let College Board Find You a Test Center link on the Your Test Center page during registration. We will work to find you a seat in your preferred city and email you once you’ve been assigned to a test center (typically within five business days). If we’re unable to find you a test center, we’ll contact you to discuss other options!

SAT has the Most Powerful Global Credentials

More than 4,000 colleges and universities in over 85 countries accept the SAT®, SAT Subjects Test™, and/or AP® in admission and grant credit, placement, or both for AP Exams. Check out the list of 700 universities outside the U.S. that use SAT and AP for admission.

More time per questions

The SAT has fewer questions than the ACT --154 compared to 215 -- and the SAT gives you 43% more time per question than the ACT.
