The College Board Opportunity Scholarships is a new program that guides students through the college planning process and offers them a chance to earn money for college for each action they complete. This unique opportunity is open to juniors and seniors attending high school in the United States, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories, starting with the class of 2020. By completing a series of simple steps that will move them closer to college, each student has the chance to earn up to $40,000.

1. Build a College List: $500

2. Practice for the SAT: $1,000

3. Improve Their Score: $2,000

4. Strengthen Their College List: $500

5. Complete the FAFSA: $1,000

6. Apply to Colleges: $1,000

Complete Their Journey: $40,000

Students who complete all six scholarship steps are eligible for a $40,000 scholarship.
